House Doctor Circle Placemat Set of 4 in Chocolate
House Doctor's set of 4 placemats are woven by hand from corn leaf, a natural fibre with a lovely dry, tactile quality and a visible weave that catches the light across the table.
The chocolate tone is deep and warm so it sits beautifully under pale ceramics, clear glass and brushed steel alike.
At 38 cm diameter they give a dinner plate plenty of room and protect the table underneath from heat and marks.
Because the look is natural rather than seasonal they work as well for a weeknight supper as for a laid table in December. Stack them on a shelf or in a drawer when they're not in use.
These are handmade, so the colour, the weave and the size vary slightly from mat to mat, which is the mark of the making rather than a fault.
